The Bentine is a small family run Hotel under the personal supervision of the owners Ben & Christine for the last 19 years. We are constantly refurbishing throughout under our ongoing commitment to our clientele.

The Hotel has an excellent reputation for good food and high quality accommodation.

We are situated close to Southport's Marine lake, famous for it's water sporting facilities if these aren't hairy enough there is Pleasureland Theme Park's newly opened "Space Shot"and'Traumatizer' the tallest and fastest suspended looping coaster in the U.K. this should reach the spot!

The adjacent coastline is internationally renowned for its unique environment and wildlife as well as its 15 miles of golden sand.

Bird Watchers the adjacent RSPB Marshside Nature Reserve with improved viewing facilities is an absolute must with the variety of species that can be seen all year round just 5 minutes walk away adjoining the Municipal golf course.

For the Golf enthusiast Southport is an ideal base with 15 courses within a 35min drive some within 15mins and Royal Birkdale the venue for the 'Open Golf Championship' just 5mins drive away, the adjacent Municipal Course is just a 2 minute walk from the Hotel.

As you can see we are a '7' iron from the first tee.

For the rail traveller we are less than a £2 taxi ride from the station.
